TradeGo and WaveBL Launch Bilateral eBL Interoperability

TradeGo has launched bilateral cross-platform interoperability with WaveBL, expanding access to major container carriers for TradeGo users and enabling electronic Bills of Lading (eBLs) to move between the two networks.

The integration allows issuers and carriers on either platform to designate parties on the other platform directly, supporting secure document exchange across both ecosystems. It is based on the Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA) PINT (Paperless Integration) API standard, providing a standardized foundation for eBL exchange between the platforms.

Connecting TradeGo users with a broader carrier network

For TradeGo users, the connection expands access to major container carriers on the WaveBL network. In turn, WaveBL users gain greater access to Chinese banks and corporates through TradeGo. By connecting these networks, the collaboration supports smoother cross-border transactions and faster document handling for participants across the trade ecosystem.

The launch builds on TradeGo’s commitment to cross-platform interoperability. Enabling counterparties on different platforms to exchange electronic trade documents helps remove barriers between networks and extends the reach of TradeGo’s digital documentation services.
